Ingredients:
  • 1 cup fresh green peas
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
  • Boil 2 cups of water.
  • Crush the peas in a blender.
  • Heat the butter and saute the onion.
  • Add the peas, 2 cups of hot water, salt and pepper and simmer till the peas are tender.
  • Add the cornflour mixed in 2 tablespoons of water and stir well.
  • Serve hot.
Makes 2 servings.
