- 8-10 green chillies
- 2 cups besan (Bengal gram flour)
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Make a thick batter by adding water to the mixture of besan, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and chaat masala.
- Make vertical slit on each of the green chillies and dip them into the batter.
- Deep fry the chillies in hot oil until golden brown.
- Serve these fritters with tomato sauce.
